Welcome of Participants

The meeting lasted for 3 hours via Google Meet Platform. All the partners participated in the meeting. This was the 1st meeting and all partners saw each other via virtually and introduce themselves detailed. The project coordinator Prof.Dr. Osman TİTREK introduced himself and their university. He then asked all participants to introduce himself in detail one by one. Participants from all partners were present. However, due to the time differences between European countries, the meeting started only at 22 o'clock at night and continued until the next day. Again, all participating partners were asked to determine a team from faculty members and students studying at their universities and to clarify and report these names as soon as possible.

Presentation of Agenda

After the participants introduced themselves in detail, the general presentation of the project based on the prepared PPTs was made. The main objectives of the project, activities, when, where and how these activities will be carried out were explained. Then, about the current timetable, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Bayrakçı made statements. The face-to-face opening meeting to be held within the first 4 months was discussed. However, the Liepaja University team, which should organize this meeting, provided information about the strict Corona Virus measures implemented by their country, and therefore stated that Latvia is not able to apply it, and that they are not allowed to go to another country. Similar remarks were made by other partners. Thereupon, it was adopted to plan the process with an online meeting every month and to plan about this meeting according to the corona virus developments in Europe. Moreover, it was decided to open a common e-mail and to coordinate with this e-mail. Again, one of the partners CSCS, coordinator Dr. Giovanni Crisona stated that he can open a project basecamp and that it will be important as a platform that everyone can access at any time by keeping the documents on this platform as well. All partners accepted this suggestion and Dr. Giovanni Crisona approved his decision to open and manage this basecamp.

Closing

After all the opinions were shared and discussed, the decisions were remembered again and the points which will be addressed in the next meeting were indicated. Accordingly, the meeting was completed.
